Who's behind LearningGPT
LearningGPT is built and run by Dan Allen. Dan spent five years at Microsoft and has 3+ years deploying Microsoft 365 Copilot in the field — across large enterprises with 500+ seats, government and public-sector tenants, healthcare and other regulated industries, and small and mid-size businesses.
Rolling Copilot out across environments that different is where the practical knowledge on this site comes from: what genuinely saves people time, what quietly goes wrong, and where another tool is honestly the better call. It's the stuff the product demos skip.
That field experience is backed by formal credentials — Dan is a Microsoft Certified: AI Business Professional and an Azure Administrator Associate — and he also advises nonprofits on practical AI adoption, from funding and program management to volunteer coordination.
The independence is the whole point. Microsoft will tell you Copilot is all you need; OpenAI will tell you ChatGPT is. LearningGPT is built by someone who has deployed these tools for real, with no vendor paying for the verdict — so the site can tell you when each tool actually wins, and when none of them is the right answer.
