The idea
Describe the problem like you'd describe it to a grandchild.
Tell it what device you have, what you're trying to do, and what's happening. The magic words are 'one step at a time' and 'explain it simply.' If a step doesn't match what you see on your screen, just say so, and it will adjust.
Step 1Say what you have and what you want
Be specific about your device (iPhone, Android phone, iPad, a Windows computer) and the goal.
Step 2Go one step at a time
If it gives you a list, do the first step, then tell it what you see. This keeps you from getting lost.
Step 3Ask it to back up
If you get confused or something looks different, that's normal. Just say so.
Fix one small thing
Pick something that's been bugging you:
- Choose one small tech annoyance (bigger text, a setting, finding a photo).
