Terms of Service

Last updated: May 19, 2026 · Effective immediately

Welcome to LearningGPT. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LearningGPT website, courses, lessons, playground, and any other services we provide (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use LearningGPT.

Plain-language summary: LearningGPT is a subscription learning platform. You pay monthly for access to lessons. You can cancel anytime through Stripe. Don't share your login, don't republish our lessons, and treat the AI outputs as starting points, not gospel. We do our best but make no guarantees about specific outcomes. If we mess up, our liability is capped at what you paid us.

1. The Service

LearningGPT is an online learning platform that teaches people to use AI tools — including ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity, and others — effectively for work and life. The Service includes lessons (video, text, and interactive), an AI playground for testing prompts across multiple models, and supporting community or support resources we may add over time.

We may update, add, or remove features at any time. We'll try to give notice for significant changes that affect paid subscribers.

2. Accounts

To access most of the Service you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information (a real email address you control)
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Not share your account with others — each subscription is for one person
  • Be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent if required where you live
  • Take responsibility for activity that happens under your account

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, email dan@learninggpt.ai immediately.

3. Subscriptions and payment

LearningGPT offers a free tier and paid tiers. Current paid tiers and pricing are shown on our pricing page. As of the Effective Date:

TierFounding priceStandard price
Free Explorer$0$0
Pro$9 / month$19 / month
Pro+$19 / month$39 / month

Founding-member pricing is locked in for the lifetime of an uninterrupted subscription. If you cancel and resubscribe later, you'll pay the then-current standard rate.

Billing is monthly, automatic, and handled by Stripe. Your payment method is charged on the same day each month based on when you signed up. All prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal (link in your account and on your receipts). Cancellation stops future charges. You retain paid access through the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months.

Refunds. If you're unhappy with the Service in the first 14 days of a paid subscription, email us and we'll issue a full refund. After 14 days, we generally do not issue refunds, but we'll consider individual circumstances in good faith.

Failed payments. If your payment method fails, Stripe will retry. If retries continue to fail, your subscription will be paused or canceled and you'll lose access to paid content until payment is restored.

Price changes. We may change standard pricing in the future. We'll give existing paid subscribers at least 30 days' notice by email before any price increase takes effect. Founding-member rates are exempt as described above.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share your login, account, or paid content with anyone else
  • Scrape, copy, redistribute, or republish lessons or other LearningGPT content (in whole or in substantial part) without written permission
  • Use the Service to build a competing product
  • Submit prompts through the playground that are illegal, harmful, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that violate the underlying AI providers' acceptable use policies
  • Attempt to break, probe, or interfere with the Service, its security, or other users
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without our permission
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Service in ways that violate any applicable law

If you violate these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account without refund.

5. Intellectual property

Our content

All lessons, videos, written materials, code samples, designs, logos, and other content created by LearningGPT are owned by LearningGPT, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. When you subscribe, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use this content for your own learning. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly post it.

Your content

The prompts you enter into the playground, notes you take, and any content you create using what you learn here belong to you. We don't claim ownership. We may process your prompts as needed to deliver the playground feature (passing them to AI providers via OpenRouter), but we don't use them to train models or sell them.

Feedback

If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback, we may use them to improve the Service without obligation or compensation to you.

6. AI outputs — important disclaimers

LearningGPT teaches you to use AI tools and lets you experiment with them through the playground. AI models can be wrong, biased, outdated, or unpredictable. You should:

  • Treat AI outputs as starting points, not finished answers
  • Verify any factual claims before acting on them
  • Not rely on AI outputs (or our lessons) for legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice
  • Use your own judgment, especially for high-stakes decisions

We are not responsible for outcomes from your use of AI tools or content generated by them. The playground passes your prompts to third-party AI providers; we don't control or guarantee their outputs.

7. Third-party services

Some features depend on third-party services (Stripe for payments, OpenRouter and the underlying AI providers for the playground, Resend for email, Vercel for hosting). Your use of those services through LearningGPT is also governed by their terms. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or policy changes in third-party services.

8. Termination

You may stop using LearningGPT and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your payment method fails repeatedly, or if we discontinue the Service. If we terminate without cause, we'll refund any prepaid amount for the unused portion of your subscription.

After termination, your access ends, but provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will meet your specific goals or expectations. We do not guarantee any particular learning outcome, career result, or income from using LearningGPT.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearningGPT, Inc., its founders, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption) arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid LearningGPT in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers or limits — in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LearningGPT, Inc. from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Dakota, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

Before filing any formal claim, please email us first at dan@learninggpt.ai. Most issues can be resolved quickly that way.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for material changes we'll email active subscribers. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree to a change, your remedy is to stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

14. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and LearningGPT regarding the Service.
  • No waiver. If we don't enforce a right, that doesn't mean we waive it.
  • Severability. If a court finds any provision unenforceable, the rest of the Terms still apply.
  • Assignment. You can't assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship between you and LearningGPT.
